Proper Order Of Films For Renting Online Movies

Probably the best and most convenient way to rent dvd’s online is to make a list of your favorite films in the order in which you’d like to view them.  Not only does this help organize your movie choices, but it also saves time in the long run.

How is all of this done?

If you decide to sign up for Netflix your account will come with a rental queue.  This is simply a list of your favorite films placed into the order in which you would like to see them.

Now depending on your membership type, after signing up for your account your first movie or set of films are on the way to you.  Returning the rental is a simple process of placing it in the provided postage paid envelope and dropping it in the mail.  When Netflix receives the dvd you will receive an email letting you know that it’s back in their possession.  They will then review your queue (or list of movie rentals) and shipped the next movie to you and send you an email to let you know it’s on the way.

Since there are know late fees, you can watch the movies at your own leisure and send it back when you’re through with it.  You also have the option to review your queue at your leisure and remove and add movies to it.  If you decide to, you can also change the order in which you want to receive the movies.

Are there any drawbacks to the service?

The convenience and abundance of movies far outweigh any drawbacks in the service but still there are a few minor issues.  I would have to say that 95% of the time I receive the movie I want to see without a hitch but sometimes when it comes to new releases there maybe a small delay.  Every once in a while the release dates of the film may change and it’s also possible that the movie you want to see is on everyone’s list and there maybe a small delay in it’s arrival to you.  I consider this a minor set back because the same thing can happen if you try to rent a new release in a rental store.

Once your online rental has been added to your queue you will receive it as soon as possible.  Unlike burning gas to continually run back and forth to the rental store to check for availability, your rental stays on your list until it’s shipped.

On the flip side a movie that’s not in high demand may also have delays.  If the demand isn’t there Netflix or any other online movie rental company doesn’t have a reason to keep a huge quantity on hand which could result in you waiting a little longer for it.

Even with the sometimes short delays in receiving new releases and not so popular online movie rentals the service can’t be beat.  There are so many available movies that if you take the time to fill up your queue you will be watching favorites automatically for months to come.
